Christmas is coming

I'll be on vacation all next week and I can't wait. I have so many things to get done. I'm going to be making my christmas cookies, pumpkin pies ,pumpkin rolls and sew all my christmas gifts. I have everything cut out for sewing mygifts and now I just need to start sewing them all up. I can't wait.

Burda 7734

Well ,I finally got one project wrapped up. Burda 7734. It is a men's hoodie. My oldest son (Cory-21) wanted this for christmas, wel it just so happened he needed another jacket and this one is done. I finished it 2 nights ago. And yes, I just love this pattern. All 3 of my boys want lots of these. Well see. This jacket/ hoodie is easy and from start to finish ( cutting out and sewing) it only took me 4 hours to finish it. Not bad fora jacket. I have the review and pictures posted on patternreview.com

Finally!!!!

After an afternoon at work, I came home and started cutting out alot of Christmas presents for the boys. I got 5 pairs of boxers, three t-shirts,three scarfs and a blanket cut out. I have shirts, jeans, slippers and a bunch of baby clothes; but I know I'll get them done!!!

Well the wet weather is upon yes, that means sewing and baking. I'm hoping to start baking this week. I have so many different types of cookies  I have to start early. As for sewing, I have my list all made out but, we're added 3 new babies to the family, which means more on my list. I'm really hoping to have time for all of the sewing I need to get done. Corny, well, she's ok. She's been running around the house the past few weeks playing with her easter bunny I got her. She carries the bunny around like its a kitten. Her sleeping patterns are changing again, she's now sleeping on top of me at night, weird cat, but, I love her!!!!

WOW, it's been forever since I've been here and I'm sorry. So much work, and and all three of the boys ( which are now living with us) so, I don't have a sewing room anymore.....someday. I've been working on a baby dress for my step-mother for one of her poreclein dolls. I had it done, and she brings it back to me yesterday wanting the hem shorter. Oh well, life goes on. I'm so excited about PR day in seattle on the 19th of Nov. Can't wait for this one, I've taken the day off from work!!!!

Sewing Expo 2011

Well, let me start by saying the past 2 days at the expo have been a blast. I was able to take on of Connie Crowford's classes and was blown away with the ideas that this Woman has. The other great thing was I got to meet Suede in person and chat with him and his crew from Slimplicity, what a bunch of great people. All I can say for Suede is "HE ROCKS", the guy is just awesome!!! I acually got him to sign my patterns and got a photo of him and I together ( I'll post soon)!!! The shopping at the Sewing Expo was the best, between Vogue Fabrics, Sew Baby, Sulky Threads and others , the past 2 days I made 6 trips to my car with fabrics and ect... I guess I'm set till next years Sewing Expo (not). I made alot of great friends and even got to have dinner Weds. night with the Yahoo group...there was 117 of us that went to dinner, it was a great time held by all. If your ever in the Northwest doing the Sewing Expo, make plans to come for a day or even 4 days and learn lots, see lots and buy lots!!!!
